The Beach Trail Cottage of Glendeven Inn is a quiet, cozy and bright vacation real at the head of a beach trail at Van Damme State park, just three doors down from Glendeven Inn.

On this day, we had a guest arriving who ordered a romance package including Roederer Sparkling Wine, this beautiful bouquet, and a cheese board on arrival!

I think it's the only image of her we have that shows her eyes.  She can't see up because of her hairdo.  That's Penelope in the background.  Of our 120 chickens on property, these are the only two with names.  You can see why.  Personality plus.

And they get to roam free on the property.  The egg-production girls have a nice life with lots of greens, all the kitchen and yard scraps and large yards to run in, but these two have the run of the place.

In this year's batch of chickens, we got some silkies and more bantams.  So they'll be a larger-small flock of fancy girls running around the inn grounds soon.
